Reid Charity Cup

Charity competition founded in Perth on 3 March 1888. The initial tournament saw five clubs invited – Fair City Athletic, St Johnstone, Erin Rovers, Caledonian Rangers (all fom Perth) and Bridgend Athletic.

17 Apr Caledonian Rangers v St Johnstone 4-0 abd after 85 mins when Stewart of Caledonian refused to leave the pitch after being ordered off. St Johnstone were awarded the tie.
